Hi, my name’s Joel: Welsh born, Cardiff based graphic designer with a decade of professional experience, recently pivoting towards a career in art direction.

I love simple communication born from a strong idea, a powerful message refined into something beautiful that resonates with people and creates real behavioural change — this is the stuff that fires me up!

Over the course of my career I’ve focused on shaping myself into a well rounded creative, equally skilled as a designer and conceptual thinker proven in a wide range of disciplines. I love collaborating on advertising campaigns; researching or interrogating creative briefs to unlock insights; developing and rolling out brand identities; I’ve done it all. I don’t hold back from sharing unconventional ideas or providing constructive feedback. I thrive on subverting expectations and thinking differently.
